               World Possessors Ministries International

  Based in Namasuba

4km from Kampala,

  Uganda.

W.P.M.I was founded by

Apostle Henry and Agnes Zaake from Uganda.

God saved Henry out of a life of witchcraft and sorcery to preach the saving healing and delivering Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In the beginning of his ministry he began preaching outdoor crusades to reach the lost with the gospel. Many well meaning, but religious men of God opposed him. He did not have the credentials they had for ministry....he did not have the papers they had...who was he!?

But he knew God had called him to preach the Gospel to the nations, so he endured and pressed on.
He would travel by public transport to Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Rwanda, Barundi, Democratic Rep. of Congo holding outdoor crusades and speaking in conferences
.(See video page) Many lives have been changed forever as a result of his obedience and steadfast faith in obeying the call of God  on his life. To obey, meant he had to leave his young wife and small children at home in Uganda.

But God began showing him, that He wanted him to have a headquarters in Uganda for his international work. This headquarters would include planting and pastoring a church. From  World Possessors Church Henry would work with the Holy Spirit to raise up a team of committed people. This team  works with Henry on the mission trips around Uganda, planting churches, preaching the gospel, encouraging the pastors of far away churches

Apostle Zaake and the church are rich in faith but not in income! They walk by faith and not by sight. They continue to do the work of the ministry despite lack of vehicles and money. God has been faithful to provide each step of the way through touching the hearts of generous saints of God.

Below:

Pastor Henry stands on an acre of land adjacent to the  land WPMI now owns. God touched a brother and sister in another country to sell their house and give the proceeds to WPMI for the purchasing of some land in Namasuba. That couple were praying in their home one evening and God challenged them to sell it and give to a poor brother. They asked, who Lord? The next day they received an email from Zaake...not asking for money at all!! WPMI then purchased a 1/4 of an acre right in the busy heart of this mainly Moslem suburb!

They are beginning(Jan 09) to build and renovate the building on the left to move World Possessors  Church here from it's current location on the other side of the busy Entebbe Highway. Once they finish the temporary church building there, they expect many, many more people to be saved and transformed by the Gospel as they preach it right in their area.

(Since writing this, 285 souls came to the Lord Jesus from Islam..Glory to Jesus Christ whose Gospel is the power of God unto salvation!! They chose freely to come to Jesu...no one forced them to change...but the living God Jesus, He does the work of changing a man's heart..the preacher is only the messenger that God uses. When these people saw that God heals the sick and sets the prisoners free and forgives all sins and loves them...they believed in Yesu Jesus!! They are now forever saved just by belief in the truth for the bible says

"Yesu n'amugamba nti Nze kkubo, n'amazima n'obulamu: tewali ajja eri Kitange, wabula ng'ayita mu nze."John 14:6

The building is now complete except for the concrete slab and painting the outside.

Namasuba will never be the same again!

Our desire in God is to purchase this 1 acre parcel of Land in Namasuba just off Entebbe road. The photo above was taken in December 08 when we held an evangelistic crusade on this plot of land in the heart of many houses and on a busy street. We now own 1 of the 1/4 acre blocks next to the land and have built a 500 person building, knocking down the old building that was there.

Our desire is to build a school, a medical center and an orphanage on this land which will bless the surrounding people and glorify the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Not only must we win the people to Jesus with the power of God demonstrating miracles of healing...but we also want to demonstrate His kindness to the Islams in our city as well.

1Pe 2:12  Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. Lord Jesus Glorify thy Holy Name!

We declare in Jesus mighty name that this land shall be used to lift up and to glorify the Gospel of Jesus Christ of Nazareth so that all those who are willing shall be blessed for many years to come. Lord Jesus nothing is too hard for you!

Jer 32:15-18 "For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land.

Now when I had delivered the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed unto the LORD, saying,

Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:

Thou shewest lovingkindness unto thousands, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts, is his name..."kjv

NEWS- November 1st attack on our church

Muslim Extremists Attack Worship Service in Uganda

About 40 Muslim extremists with machetes and clubs tried to break into a Sunday worship service outside Uganda’s capital city of Kampala on Nov. 1, leaving a member of the congregation with several injuries and damaging the church building.

Eyewitnesses said the extremist mob tried to storm into World Possessor’s Church International in Namasuba at 11 a.m. as the church worshipped.

“The church members were taken by a big surprise, as this happened during worship time,” said Pastor Henry Zaake. “It began with an unusual noise coming from outside, and soon I saw the bricks falling away one by one. Immediately I knew that it was an attack from the Muslims who had earlier sent signals of an imminent attack.”

The pastor said the disturbance brought the worship service to a standstill.

“There was a tug-of-war at the entrance to the church as members tried to thwart the Muslim aggression from making headway inside the church,” he told Compass.

A member of the congregation who was taking photos of the worship service – and then the attack – was beaten, sustaining several injuries, church leaders said. He was later taken to a nearby clinic for treatment. During the pandemonium, some church members were able to escape through a rear door.

Pastor Umar Mulinde added that nearby residents helped repel the attack.

“At the scene of the incident were rowdy Muslims with machetes and clubs ready to destroy the church,” Pastor Mulinde said. “The good neighbors of the church also came in, and we were able to overpower [the assailants].”

Police arrived and put a stop to the assault, but officers did not arrest anyone, church leaders said.

“We have reported the matter to the central police station, and we are surprised that no action has been taken,” Pastor Zaake said. “So far no person has been arrested as a result of this mayhem. It is as if the police are not concerned about our security and lives.”
Many in the church are now living in fear, he said, noting that last Sunday (Nov. 8), attendance decreased from 250 to 100 people.

“Since the attack we have been receiving a lot of threats from the Muslims,” Pastor Zaake said. “There is a conspiracy that we can’t understand. This trend really gives me sleepless nights.”

Area Muslims have long opposed the existence of the church in Namasuba, complaining that church members try to convert area Muslims. Christian sources said the initial pretext for damaging the church building was that its outdoor stairway encroached on the alley; the estimated US$535 (1 million Uganda shillings) in damages were limited to the stairway. The sources said that when the complaint of the stairway encroaching on the alley fell on deaf ears, local Muslim and community leaders criticized the church for making too much noise.

Namasuba is predominantly Islamic, with some estimates of Muslim adherents going as high as 80 percent of the population.

Pastor Zaake said area Muslims have been holding meetings at night, which he suspects concern plans to paralyze Christian activities.

“It looks like they are planning for another attack, especially in light of the threatening messages I have been receiving on my mobile phone from anonymous senders,” a worried Pastor Zaake told Compass by phone.

The church has been meeting in Namasuba since March. It is located four kilometers from Kampala on a quarter-acre parcel.

Although the Ugandan constitution guarantees religious freedom, authorities hardly prosecute Muslim attacks against Christians, church leaders said.

“The police silence on the whole issue is worrying and leaves a lot to be desired,” Pastor Zaake said.
